Questions

What is Triremes?

Triremes is a leads marketplace for software problems, owned and operated by Pigfox LLC. You can find distinct problems people have with the software they use, free, see which businesses have them, and buy the lead or the idea report to pitch or build the fix. Browsing needs no account.

What counts as a problem?

Each problem is one specific issue with a specific product. When many people report the same issue, it's listed once.

Can I see what I get before I buy?

Yes. Every problem page shows its title, its tier, how many reports there are and what it sells, with the price, free and before you buy. The sample idea report and the sample lead show a real problem as a buyer sees it, the lead with its contact details masked. All sales are final.

What do the tiers mean?

Tier I, or Proven, and Tier II, or Emerging, are how established a problem is. Each problem page shows how many public reports it is made from and when it was first and last reported. Both tiers sell leads where businesses were found, and idea reports where none were found yet.

What does Triremes sell, and what does it cost?

Where Triremes found businesses with a problem, it sells the leads: each business's name, the email address it published as its own and the page it was published on, on a private page and as a CSV. They cost $19 for each business found, at least $19, in every tier. With no business yet, a Tier I or II problem sells an idea report instead, for $19 or $9. All sales are final.

What is in an idea report?

An idea report is sold for a Tier I or II problem with no business yet. Its page shows the title, the tier, how many reports there are and the summary's first sentence for free. The paid report adds the full summary, when the reports were first and last made, the products they are about, how many came each month and related problems. It holds no contact details.

Which contact details does Triremes sell?

Only contact details businesses have published themselves on publicly accessible pages, such as their own website, together with where each was published. Never a private individual's details. Buyers may use them only for lawful, relevant contact, as the terms for buyers allow, and may not resell them. Triremes never contacts the businesses for you.

Who is Triremes for?

Triremes is for software developers, agencies and consultants who want to offer a fix to people who already need one. Instead of guessing what to build or whom to pitch, you start from a problem people have reported in public, see how many businesses have it, and contact those businesses yourself with a relevant offer of help.
