What to fix for them: the problem in plain words.
The problem
Merchants across several Shopify apps report that a vendor update or bug removed live store content, including collections, navigation menus, popups and saved email templates. Owners had no backup, no confirmation step and no undo, so rebuilding categories and menu structure took many hours and hurt sales and search rankings. Reports come from single-store owners on monthly plans and from long-established stores with large catalogues. Some kept paying while the content was gone. The opportunity is a safeguard layer that keeps versioned copies of live store assets, restores them on demand, and warns owners when a dependent asset changes or disappears.
