Slider slides flash briefly then stay blank
Posts flash for a split second then vanish, or slides show as empty white areas, so the slider never displays images or content.

What's going wrong
Owners of WordPress sites using Recent Posts FlexSlider report that the slider shows only arrows and dots. Posts or images appear for about a second and then disappear, or the area stays a large empty white block. One owner regenerated image sizes to fix a layout problem and then no images showed at all, even though image URLs loaded in the browser. Others tried disabling plugins and adding CSS without success. These site owners, including sidebar widget users, cannot tell whether the cause is the plugin, the theme, or the images. A fix would be a diagnostic that checks slide rendering in a live browser and explains the cause.
