What's going wrong
Site owners report that this font plugin looks free on its listing but needs a paid license once they start using it. One reviewer found that the free tier allowed only one font, and that this limit was buried in the description. Others learn about the paywall only after installing and configuring the tool, which wastes their time. They feel misled, especially when a plugin that looked free turns out to need a paid key. There is room for a checker or comparison service that flags paid gates and license costs before installation, sold to freelancers and agencies who vet tools for clients.
