What's going wrong
Many site owners using this WordPress plugin report that after a member connects their account, the Discord bot shows the account as linked, yet the person never joins the server, stays pending, or does not get the mapped role or channel access. Some admins followed the setup guide several times, reinstalled the plugin, and still saw the same gap. Symptoms vary, including roles not applied, channels not becoming visible, and logs showing an unknown server. These reports come from membership sites of many sizes. Site owners need a way to see which step of the link and join flow is failing. A diagnostic that tests bot permissions, role order and server membership would give them a clear answer.
