What's going wrong
Several site owners say the Meta pixel plugin gets stuck on Connection Pending or keeps loading forever when they try to link their Facebook account. Nothing on screen explains why, so they cannot tell whether the fault is their server, their browser, or the plugin. One reviewer notes that the connection never completes, and another reports spinning with no result. Owners who depend on tracking for ad spend lose time and money while waiting. The opening is a diagnostic tool that walks through each connection step, shows where it stalls, and suggests a fix a non-developer can follow.
