What's going wrong
Several site owners found that credits either never appear or appear only in the main post body. Reported gaps include featured images in specific multi-purpose themes, custom template images loaded through standard attachment functions, cover blocks in the block editor, and a featured posts widget that shows post excerpts. Owners using page builders and custom layouts want the credit shown directly under these images. Publishers who run credited photography across many layouts need a dependable way to show the credit wherever an image appears.
