What's going wrong
Many site owners report that the free version of this maintenance page plugin offers very little. Custom designs, previews, and even basic image or text changes are reserved for paid plans, and some reviewers see full-screen upgrade prompts that interrupt their work. Several people said they expected a free tool to cover simple needs and felt misled after installing it. Some compared it to other free plugins that offer customization without a paywall. There is clear room for a competing maintenance page tool that keeps core design features free and charges only for advanced extras.
